ahhh.......

yesterday was such a waste of my life. seriously.

so first our flight was delayed for about 6 hours due to some hydraulic problems or something on our airplane. about 2 hours later the plane was fixed, but because they had given everybody a later departure time, they couldn't move it up. so we finally get on the plane around 4.45, but after only about an hour of flying the captain makes the announcement that we have a problem with our left engine and we have to turn around and land again in honolulu. still full of fuel. there were all these firetrucks and stuff on the runway, it was kind of intense.

our new flight is today at noon-thirty. luckily we have somwhere to live here, because apparantly there were no hotel rooms available for any of the other people on the flight, so they had to sleep in the airport. our bags are already in san francisco, they got there last night at around 3 am. hopefully they don't get lost.

otherwise hawaii was rather uneventful. we did the beach thing, the pool thing, went over to kailua, had dinner with the applegates and the chuns (separately), and went to the zoo (for madeline). hopefully our flight actually makes it home today.
