mexico: days 5 + 6
yesterday none of the museums were open, so we spent the day "shopping." lets just say that mexico city shopping isn't all that impressive, so we were only out for a few hours. we left the hotel around 2, found something to eat, went to the "soho of mexico city" (riiight...) and were back at the hotel by 4:30. bored again. my mom went to the gym, matt and i did nothing, we had dinner at 9, then came back and did nothing some more...not too eventful of a day.
today was museum day. we went to the museum of anthropolgy and museum of modern art. the museum of anthropology was interesting, but affter a while all the artifacts started to look the same. i guess they learn from each other. the museum of modern art wasn't all that impressive, except that that is where "two fridas" is kept. we went to some tiled building to eat, and then had a tour of a house by louis barragon. then we came back here and watched a bit of "futbol," during which i fell asleep. i awoke to "unleashed" which is an interesting movie...yeah..
so now we're off to dinner. mexico city isn't all that exciting, honestly. and never wear shorts or skirts if you're a girl. it's...unsettling... gonna go eat now.
