green sleeves is all my joy

remember that poetry midterm that i slept through?

i guess all that sleeping paid off, cuz i just got it back and got an A! yay! no history class today, 1-on-1 meetings instead. we recited poetry in the courtyard of the risd museum instead of just sitting inside all of class. i realized that both of my teachers really take our comments and criticisms to heart. one girl asked if we could have class outside more now that its getting nicer out, and we've had class outside both classes in the past two weeks.

an ice cream truck stopped by outside the waterman building yesterday. it caused a lot of excitement. it reminded me of hanging out at kate's house in elementary school and listening for the ice cream truck that played green sleeves, and having to grab change from her drawer and run outside to catch the truck. what a life.

saera is in my section next fall, along with brian and andrea, which is exciting. it's like a mini section-13 reunion! like i showed you, my schedule is crazy, but we'll see how that goes.
