POST 100! I'd say that's a milestone...
I'm amazed I've made it this far. post 100. amazing. this is like the longest i've ever stuck with anything. in my life.
had lunch @...something 8 1/2 with jon in ny this afternoon, which was lovely, as always. so i left there around..1:20 or so (which was kinda late to begin with) then the N,R,or W downtown train didn't come for seriously like 10 or 15 minutes, then by the time i got back to the W (which i got out of the station on the opposite side of union square too, go me) it was 1:50 and i had 13 minutes to get to penn station. so OF COURSE there is like tons of traffic trying to get across town and i get to penn station at 2:05 (2 minutes after my train's scheduled departure time). i got out of the cab about a block away because there was too much traffic, so i walked a block with my bags and stuff then by the time i got into penn station they were doing the all aboard thing, so i had practically run down the stairs (but i didn't, though i probably should have) and managed to jump on at the last minute. scary. but i made it.
then the first thing i did as soon as i get on the train? go to put up the stupid foot rest and slam my hand in it. my fingers really hurt right now and as a result i can't type very well. the tips of my middle finger and ring finger look like they're bleeding under my skin. it's not good. and the finger nail of my middle finger feels like it may fall off soon...boo.
we had a stupid bacteria thing at 7 tonight which was like the lamest thing EVER. i felt like i was in kindergarten. she even tested us to see how well we could was our hands ("just sing happy birthday, and when the song is over you know you've washed them for long enough!") sheesh. waste of time. then went to dinner w/ yumi, looked at some interesting japanese magazines, talked on the phone for like an hour, and THEN started my drawing homework again. i just finished it about half an hour ago. good times. it sucks though. luckily it's only week one and i'll have a chance to go back to it for next week. i'll post some pictures of it on the risd pictures section.
oh, and i found some pictures from the 2-d class where we slept and put up post-it notes. thank you sarah rossi, emily kohler, and claire bushey for the photos...they'll be up in the risd pics section momentarily. gonna try to sleep. later loves.
10: omg, ten.
45: getting there...slowly but surely...
