and so begins semester 2. some lists.

two and a half weeks into the second semester, i finally have a chance to update this. its been too long, i know. like you care anyway. for the first time i have free time when i'm not:

1. exausted and, thus, sleeping/napping.
2. hungry and at the met eating myself fat.
3. doing nothing in studio, but still forced to stay there anyway because our teachers are stubborn.
4. talking on the phone.

i just finished my poetry response paper, and have decided to take a break before i start drawing. fun fun. i had to take some pictures of alice for 2d, and i realized just how much i miss photography. i need to get some more film. maybe i'll go do that in a minute.

for some reason this semester feels like so much more work than first semester, but it may be because i had the buffer of wintersession in the middle. either way i'm soo not used to it. there have, however, been some big decisions i've made recently:

1. i'm not going to art center. i'm staying at risd for at least another year.
2. i'm majoring in industrial design. yay.
3. i'm living in 15 west next year, which is the new, nice, big building. in a single bedroom in an apartment with my friend and someone i don't know. but i think i can handle that.
4. i'm taking up photo again. on the side.

i can't believe i've only been in school for 2.5 weeks since wintersession break. it feels like it was forever ago. the first week alone felt like an entire month. my new section is alright though. we talk to each other. of course, nothing will ever compare to section 13. awww. i can't WAIT for spring break. only 16 days babe. allow me to list the reasons why:

1. i get to see my baby. not a day too soon. i love you.
2. no school for an entire week (although that doesn't mean i don't have work to do DURING break).
3. warm(er) weather. in california. i have come to dislike the northeast.
4. anne marie may, or beawis, if you prefer.

i'm so tired all the time. now it is time for me to go be ripped off at the risd store for compressed charcoal, film, illustration board, and a bigger gouache/watercolor brush. this is gonna be a blast.
